The Russian Legation building in the Jeong-dong quarter, begun in 1885 and completed in 1890 to a design by architect A. I. Seredin-Sabatin. King Gojong resided in the legation in 1896–1897. The main building was destroyed during the Korean War; the three-tier tower survives, was restored in 1973 and has been protected since 22 November 1977 as Historic Site No. 253 of the Republic of Korea.

Главное здание разрушено во время Корейской войны; сохранилась трёхъярусная башня, восстановленная в 1973 году и с 22 ноября 1977 года охраняемая как Исторический памятник Республики Корея № 253.
