The airfield near Milovice has operated since 1925; until August 1968 it housed a training centre and units of Czechoslovak aviation. It was modernised for Soviet aviation: in the 1970s 44 reinforced-concrete aircraft shelters and an additional taxiway were built. After the Soviet Army left in 1991 the airfield was taken over by the Czechoslovak army, which did not resume flying, and it was later transferred to civil administration.

Аэродром близ Миловице действует с 1925 года; до августа 1968 года на нём размещались учебный центр и части чехословацкой авиации. Для советской авиации аэродром был модернизирован: в 1970-е годы построены 44 железобетонных укрытия для самолётов и дополнительная рулёжная дорожка. После ухода Советской армии в 1991 году аэродром приняла чехословацкая армия, не возобновившая полёты, затем он был передан в гражданское управление.

According to the Milovice Military Area Museum (28 August 2025), the airfield has been transferred to civil administration and is used by sport aviation; one of the aircraft shelters (“Hangar No. 12”) was declared a cultural monument in 2013.
