ChinaХарбин1951Industrial sites
The electric machinery, boiler and turbine plants in Harbin were built from 1951 and comprised six of the '156 projects' constructed in China with Soviet assistance during the First Five-Year Plan. They formed the basis of the state-owned Harbin Electric Corporation, one of China's largest makers of power plant equipment. The street on which the plants stand is named after the three power equipment plants.
