Дом Скынтейи (ныне Дом свободной прессы) в Бухаресте (1956, арх. Х. Майку) — сталинская высотка по образцу московских, до 2007 года самое высокое здание Румынии (92 м со шпилем). Возводилась под полиграфический комбинат и редакции газет; единственное здание Бухареста, сохранившее на фасаде серп и молот.
Casa Scinteii (now the House of the Free Press) in Bucharest (1956, architect H. Maicu) is a Stalinist skyscraper modelled on those of Moscow and, until 2007, the tallest building in Romania (92 m including the spire). It was built to house a printing combine and newspaper editorial offices; it is the only building in Bucharest to retain the hammer and sickle on its facade.
