The horseshoe-plan block has a forecourt and a projecting bay with a pediment crowned by a figure of Themis. In 1914 a field hospital operated in the building; after the Second World War it housed the municipal council and the voivodeship office, and since 1989 it has again been a court. The east wing houses the State Archive.
