PolandКлещеле1870–1877Public buildings
A stone parish church built in the 1870s in Kleszczele, then within the Russian Empire, because the earlier wooden Church of St Nicholas had become too small for the parish. According to Polish Wikipedia, construction was paid for by the state treasury, while parishioners raised 3,299 roubles 49 kopecks for the furnishings; the church was consecrated on 22 October 1877. The monument register dates the building to about 1870.
