Church of Sts Peter and Paul, Wasilków

1853Public buildings
A stone parish church built in 1853 in Wasilków, then within the Russian Empire, to replace a 16th-century wooden church, which was then dismantled; a chapel was erected on the site of its altar. According to Polish Wikipedia the building is in the Russo-Byzantine style and stands on ground reinforced with piles, and an iconostasis of 1836 survives inside. According to the parish, a copy of the icon of the Mother of God from Święta Woda has been kept in the church since 1866.
