A stone parish church built in 1865–1866 in Siemiatycze, then within the Russian Empire, to replace a dilapidated 17th-century wooden church. According to Polish Wikipedia it was erected to a pattern-book design by Konstantin Thon and largely with state funds. The church functioned until 1915, was reopened between the wars and has been in continuous use since; the iconostasis of 1908 survives.
The monument register of the National Institute of Cultural Heritage of Poland (Podlaskie Voivodeship; as of 30 June 2026) lists the building as the Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God and Sts Peter and Paul of 1866 within the Orthodox parish church complex at 1 Powstania Styczniowego Street (No. A-110 of 7 December 1995).
