A settlement on the western shore of Billefjorden, named after the adjacent pyramid-shaped mountain. The coal claim, made by a Swedish expedition in 1910, was sold in 1926–1927 to the Soviet company Anglo-Russian Grumant and passed to the Arktikugol trust in 1931. Mining resumed in 1948; after the war a cultural centre, swimming pool, school, library and greenhouses were built here.

Посёлок на западном берегу Билле-фьорда, названный по соседней горе пирамидальной формы. Угольный участок, заявленный шведской экспедицией в 1910 году, в 1926–1927 годах был продан советской компании «Англо-Русский Грумант», а в 1931 году перешёл к тресту «Арктикуголь». Добыча возобновилась в 1948 году; после войны здесь построили дом культуры, бассейн, школу, библиотеку и теплицы.
