The boarding-school complex on Königsbrücker Landstrasse in Klotzsche was built in 1925–1927 to a design by Heinrich Tessenow and Oskar Kramer: a school building, six boarding houses, an assembly hall and a gymnasium. From 1945 to 1992 the buildings were used by the Soviet army. After the troops left, the complex was restored and in 2001 it opened as an academy for occupational safety and health of the statutory accident insurers. The surviving school building is a listed cultural monument of Saxony.
