The building at Unter den Linden 63–65 was erected on the site of the former embassy (Palais Kurland), destroyed in 1944, with adjoining plots added. It was designed under Anatoly Strizhevsky, and after his death the work was continued by Lebedinsky, Sichert and F. Skujin; according to the Berlin monument register it was built in 1949–1951, and the official opening took place on 7 November 1952. The building is a listed monument and houses the Embassy of Russia in Germany.
Здание по адресу Унтер-ден-Линден, 63–65 возведено на участке прежнего посольства (дворец Курляндских), разрушенного в 1944 году, с присоединением соседних участков. Проект выполнен под руководством Анатолия Стрижевского, после его смерти работу продолжили Лебединский, Зихерт и Ф. Скуин; по данным берлинского реестра памятников, строительство велось в 1949–1951 годах, торжественное открытие состоялось 7 ноября 1952 года. Здание включено в реестр памятников Берлина; в нём размещается посольство России в Германии.
