The barracks on Schillerstrasse in Stendal were built in 1937 and named the Hindenburg Barracks. According to the present user's chronicle, the Soviet army was stationed there from 1945 to 1990 and renamed it the Pushkin Barracks. In October 1993 the district of Stendal decided to set up a vocational school centre here; the conversion lasted from May 1995 to July 1997 and the centre opened on 21 November 1997.

По хронике нынешнего пользователя, с 1945 по 1990 год в ней размещалась советская армия, давшая казарме имя Пушкина. В октябре 1993 года округ Стендаль решил устроить здесь центр профессионального образования; перестройка шла с мая 1995 по июль 1997 года, центр открыт 21 ноября 1997 года.
