The five-domed church was built in the 1890s to designs by Gustav Wiedermann, based on an earlier design by K. A. Ukhtomsky, with donations from Russian visitors to the spa; the plot was provided by the Carlsbad town council. It was consecrated on 28 May (9 June) 1897. In February 2025 the Hungarian Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church was entered in the land register as the owner of the church.

Пятиглавый храм построен в 1890-х годах по проекту Густава Видермана, основанному на более раннем проекте К. А. Ухтомского, на пожертвования русских гостей курорта; участок предоставил городской совет Карлсбада. Освящён 28 мая (9 июня) 1897 года. В феврале 2025 года в кадастре недвижимости в качестве собственника храма зарегистрирована Венгерская епархия Русской православной церкви.
