A road cable-stayed bridge across the Daugava River, opened on 21 July 1981. A single-pylon structure with an A-shaped reinforced-concrete pylon about 109 m tall and a main steel span of 312 m. It was designed by the Kyiv branch of Soyuzdorproekt (engineers G. Fuks and M. Korneyev, architect A. Gavrilov).

This refers to the total construction cost for the 1978–1981 project, in post-1961 Soviet rubles. No independent corroborating source with this figure was found; Russian-language sources consulted do not mention a cost figure.
