The main concert hall of Leningrad (1967, architects A. Zhuk, V. Kamensky and Zh. Verzhbitsky), seating 4,000 and opened for the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution. Its spare form of glass and Saaremaa dolomite was Leningrad's answer to the Kremlin Palace of Congresses and a notable example of Soviet modernism.
