A wooden church built in 1906 by the villagers next to an earlier mid-19th-century church (1849 or 1855); its design derives from the churches at Karluk and Belkofski. In 1939–1940 the building was remodelled: the nave was lengthened and the bell tower was moved to the gate of the churchyard. The parish belongs to the Diocese of Sitka and Alaska of the Orthodox Church in America. The church was listed on the US National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
