The principal memorial to the residents and defenders of besieged Leningrad, opened on 9 May 1960. At the centre of the ensemble is the bronze statue "Motherland," and lines commemorating the fallen are carved along a granite stele. An avenue leads through fields of mass graves to the Eternal Flame.

Главный мемориал памяти жителей и защитников блокадного Ленинграда, открытый 9 мая 1960 года. В центре ансамбля — бронзовая статуя «Мать-Родина», вдоль гранитной стелы высечены строки о памяти павших. Аллея ведёт через поля братских захоронений к Вечному огню.
