The parish was organised on 15 November 1916; on 16 April 1917 it received its charter, bought the Shaw Avenue property and began building a church, whose cornerstone was blessed on 4 July 1918. On 10 September 1973 the old building was demolished and construction of a new one, designed by the architect Sergei Padukow, began; the first liturgy in it was served on 5 January 1975 and it was consecrated on 2 November 1975. The parish belongs to the Eastern American Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia.

Приход организован 15 ноября 1916 года; 16 апреля 1917 года он получил устав, купил участок на Шоу-авеню и начал строить церковь, краеугольный камень которой освящён 4 июля 1918 года. 10 сентября 1973 года старое здание снесли и начали строительство нового по проекту архитектора Сергея Падюкова; первая литургия в нём отслужена 5 января 1975 года, освящение состоялось 2 ноября 1975 года. Приход относится к Восточно-Американской епархии Русской православной церкви заграницей.
