1891Public buildings
By tradition the church was built in 1891 by Father Ivan Orlov; the site is known as the "Little Russian Mission" on the Kuskokwim, to distinguish it from Russian Mission on the Yukon. The wooden building has three parts: the nearly square central volume has a hip roof with an onion dome, and the vestibule and altar carry smaller domes. The church was listed on the US National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
