IsraelХайфа1909–1913Public buildings
A church on the podvorie of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in the upper part of Haifa. The plot was acquired by the mission in 1909; by 1911 a refectory for pilgrims arriving in Haifa by sea had been built on it, which was then converted into a church with a bell tower. The church was consecrated on 14 November 1913 by Patriarch Damian of Jerusalem. It was not among the properties sold to the State of Israel in 1964; regular services resumed in 1991.
