The cemetery church was founded on 3 June 1893 and consecrated in 1894; the building with five onion domes was designed by architect Albert Bohm. The cemetery and church were established by the St. Vladimir Brotherhood headed by Archpriest Alexei Maltsev, rector of the embassy church in Berlin. The church and cemetery are a protected monument and belong to the Berlin Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church.

Кладбищенский храм заложен 3 июня 1893 года и освящён в 1894 году; здание с пятью луковичными главами построено по проекту архитектора Альберта Бома. Кладбище и храм устроены Свято-Владимирским братством во главе с протоиереем Алексием Мальцевым, настоятелем посольской церкви в Берлине. Храм с кладбищем является охраняемым памятником и относится к Берлинской епархии Русской православной церкви.
