The church of the Pokrov (Protection) community, registered in Vyborg in 1926 and active in Helsinki since 1940. In June 1951 the community bought a plot with a house in the Munkkiniemi district, where the church was built by parishioners in 15 months to a design by the architect Ilmari Ahonen and consecrated on 1 February 1953. The parish belongs to the Patriarchal Parishes in Finland of the Moscow Patriarchate.

Храм Покровской общины, зарегистрированной в 1926 году в Выборге и с 1940 года действующей в Хельсинки. В июне 1951 года община купила участок с домом в районе Мунккиниеми, где по проекту архитектора Илмари Ахонена силами прихожан за 15 месяцев была построена церковь, освящённая 1 февраля 1953 года. Приход входит в Патриаршие приходы в Финляндии Московского патриархата.
